The final Ho, Ho, Ho of the week is from none other than Chief Executive Officer, Randy Wertz. I consider myself fortunate to have worked with Randy for the better part of my career to date. Randy is one of the longest tenured hospital CEO’s in the state of Missouri and you don’t achieve that accomplishment unless you’re doing things the right way. So here’s the man, the myth, the legend – Randy Wertz.
Each and every day all of us at Golden Valley Memorial Healthcare have the opportunity to help to assure access to quality healthcare services for everyone throughout the Golden Valley service area. As I reflect on our accomplishments of the past year, I am so proud of the strength of the commitment of everyone on our healthcare team to the provision of exceptional health and wellness services. Numerous changes have occurred over the course of the year to enhance programs and services that are available to the community.
New physicians include Audrey Williams, D.O., Family Practice/OB and Sunanda Magadan, M.D., General Surgery. Both of these highly trained young physicians are a great addition to our medical staff. The development of the Clinton Walk-in Clinic which is staffed by Kelly Small, Family Nurse Practitioner provides a wonderful opportunity for immediate access to care for minor injuries and illnesses. The continuing development of our information system capabilities very positively impacts the quality and safety of patient care processes and our ongoing hospital renovations provide a modern and up-to-date environment for our patients. These are just a few of the changes over the past year that reflect the strength of our organizational commitment to the healthcare needs and expectations of the community.
I feel blessed to have the opportunity to work with so many dedicated healthcare professionals and together we are successfully working to assure the fulfillment of our mission “To provide exceptional health and wellness services with friendliness and compassion”. Thank you for all you do. Best wishes to everyone for health and happiness in the New Year.
